Cracked Rims

Either due to normal wear and tear or as a result of trauma, cracks are an all too common problem with alloy wheels. Small cracks can lead to slow air leaks and have the potential to widen and cause dangerous blow outs.

Large cracks can prevent tires from holding air outright and prevent you from getting on the road altogether. Worst of all, over time and under stress, a crack can spread to the point that a wheel is no longer safe to use.

Welding cracks in wheels is a straightforward and permanent solution to these problems, and unlike sealing compounds (which are sometimes used as “quick fix” for small cracks, welded areas are stronger than before and prevent cracks from getting worse over time.
